I still have all of my Star Wars figures from when I was a kid (including both blue and red Snaggletooth). Most still have their weapons and capes, so I never had to re-acquire them as an adult.

Ok here's the thing you need to remember if you are going by the cards. There are I believe 3 R2-D2s and 2 C3POs. These weren't identifed as separate figures but were merely replaced on the cards when a different version was released. Unlike say Luke with retracting lightsaber or Luke in Hoth Gear which are identifed on the cards as separate figures.

Here's an example. The R2 on this card back is actually the 2nd release with Sensorscope and the C3PO is the 2nd release with Removable Limbs. Notice that the 1st releases of these figures are not present on the card. On later cards the #38 R2 w/Sensorscope was replaced with R2 w/Pop Up Lightsaber. So to be a completist you would need to add 3 figures to the 92 total. Then of couse as mentioned add the 3 Max Rebo Band figures and Blue Snaggie etc (and that's before you get into variations)

That is if you are going to be a completist. If you get really wacky, you can start looking at the coo and have a made in Taiwan Leia and a Hong Kong gal. And then there are the foreign cards and releases. oh boy - it goes on forever.

I actually like the concise 92 cardback idea, tho I would never be able to stick with it myself. I have a hard time not buying loose Kenner SW. I can't even browse the ebay section without finding a lot to bid on and try not to tempt myself there anymore. I have waaay too many of these things in my life.

Looking forward to the endcap pic when Man of Action gets the last two in and carded.

                        R2-D2 (1st)

                        R2-D2 w/Sensorscope (2nd)

                        R2-D2 w/Pop Up Lightsaber (3rd)

and just for the heck of it:

                        R2-D2 Droid Factory (4th)

There are two popup r2s. The first was with the original Power of the Force line and has a chromed head. The second was in the Droids cartoon based line and has a grey head and simplified deco on his sticker.

Let's not forget the vinyl cape Jawa and the double telescoping lightsabers. Then there's the color variations on the AT-AT Drivers,Ugnaughts plus the Tusken Raiders with cheek tubes,Yoda with different colored snakes and so on.

Han Solo small head, and Han Solo big head (when Ford started getting delusions of grandeur)

And Lando (straight face) and Lando smiling.

Leia Bespin gown with high collar and without collar.
