Canadian Black Hole

Found this site that i hadn't seen before . I liked the Shreddies Cereal Premium BH pencil holders. Anyone ever see anyone these ? I never even knew of them. I've collected Black hole items off and on since the movie came out. I just started looking at the foreign items . If you click on the other collectibles you'll see great images of all 4 and there are 6 different colors to them . The round carrying case in to the right there. really cool.

Something else fun on the site was this round carrying bootleg action figure case. Never seen one of those either , but like to.

Yea, Canada got some cool Black Hole stuff we never seen here in the USA

I never could figure out why Canada got the treatment and we didn't.

Good question, I kind of remember the film being as much of a dud here as it was in the US. We saw it during it's first run in a theatre that was mostly empty. I remember thinking "Boy, that sure was no Star Wars!" and being mostly bored, but I thought the Cygnus and Maximillan were cool. My friends were equally unimpressed. (I've come to appreciate it more now though).

Maybe we just got the left over stuff that was already made, but manufacturers and sellers got cold feet after the movie didn't do too well. "Nevermind, this crap won't sell now, let's just dump it all in the Canadian market and take whatever money we can get"

Shreddies cereal gave you three Mego figures with box tops and postage. I ate that crap for months and did the mail away, the envelope had Maximillian on it. It was childhood magic but that cereal is awful.

Still have a big bag of the pencil holders but none of the code flashers...

After looking at the cereal box I bet it was terrible. I think i Might post on a few cereal sites I go to just asking too. Any idea of prices on the pencil holders ? i have always liked the odd cereal premium.
