This is a great find. I still have that copter.
If you need any Adventure Team decals, just shoot me a pm. I've been producing high quality vinyl computer-die cut AT decals for joe collectors for several years now.

This has been a lot of fun. I've been slowly cleaning and piecing stuff together and it's coming along great! There actually is quite a bit here.
Is there a good GI Joe website that shows parts and detailed photos?
I've been using my 2 joe books and ebay photos but something better would be appreciated....Comment

Hey, if you want to sell that red lens that goes on the front of the fire truck, name your price.

Excellent haul!!!! I love seeing all the Joe stuff on display like that. Congarts on filling in your collection.
The Gijoe Headquarters is the Sears(Mail Order version)you can tell because windows are yellow instead of clear. There is a simple card board box roughly 4in square that goes under table top for the headquarters.
The training tower top looks to be missing 2 pieces the backwall and L shape snap in computer type peiece, Not sure if you remember but the grey tower pieces fit into top of orange tower. I can send pic if you need.
The best book for loose Gijoe accessories is: The New Official Identification Guide to GIJOE 1964-78 by James DeSimone Everything is shown loose not in package on Ebay very cheap now for $10-20 originally new was $35 Good luck!Last edited by Neutron X; Aug 8, '09, 12:49 PM.Comment

I still have a box of various parts--some probably go to the tower. That thing is next to impossible to put together. I remember back when I was a child my dad would be cussing on X-mas morning trying to put our toys together. Now I know why.
Too bad the condition on that Crash Crew truck is so poor. It's really been through the ringer--numerous cracks, missing parts--but still, it cleaned up fairly well.
The jet is neat, too. But is missing parts and has damage as well.
I'm actually most excited about the Adventure Team stuff, even though more common, there is huge nostalgia factor involved. That Mobile Support Vehicle rules--I've always wanted one.
All in all, this was a fun lot to find, clean up and sort. $200 well spent!Comment
