Lee Majors checks out Kenner's Six Million Dollar Man

The title of this post could have easily been "Lee Majors plays with himself" but I had a rare bout of restraint. Also in this picture is Kenner President Bernard Loomis, the man who made the decision to make Star Wars figures 3 3/4" and very responsible for changing the action figure landscape.

        Now that is cool!
        I miss my SMDM stuff.
        Someday I will rebuy it.
Started last night with a basic Maskatron. Now have to find most of the accessories for him.

As a kid I was too young to get it when it came out, but I always wanted a cherry Steve Austin, finally thanks to a person on this very forum, I got one. SMDM was one of the best memories I had as a kid. Sundays @ 4 PM on channel 4. (The show was already off the air but I never missed a rerun!) I LOVE those toys! Still would love to have a saquatch.

What a KICKIN' pic! Makes me love my stuff even more!

Now THAT is cool. I have never seen a pic of Lee Majors with the Kenner action figure. What a neat treasure to find. Thanks for posting that RSS!

For some reason, I know have a wealth of "Lee Majors visits Toy Fair" images, either they photographed his every move at Toyfair 1975 or he was an extremely good sport about promotion.

Here he is at Toys R Us:

Cool pic!! Lee Majors has always been a first glass gentleman with his fans and in his career. You don't see alot of people like him anymore.

Just a great, great toy. One of my fondest Christmas memories is finding Steve Austin and his rocket ship under the tree.

                          Sure looks like it.

I think the figure itself was a done design, but the clothes are prototypes(hand made?). The shirt is all funky, with an extra large collar, and string ties around the bottom.
