AirFix 1979 Alien kit

I have the US MPC kit, the 99 Amt/Ertyl kit, I never knew there was an Aifix kit, anyone ever seen one of these? I just scoured the web and can find nothing.
And does anyone ever see any of those HG ( I think thats who made it) rack toys come up for sale? I think I am about as near complete as I can be on the 79 film, with the exception of the toys and that Kenner doll (that damn thing is out of my range, ). Another thing I want real bad is the Heavy Metal 1980 Alien calendar............
Another question I have is the movie poster books, I have one and two, I have gotten the impression there was a 3 and 4, anyone know about these at all? And if you have any of this stuff laying around, shoot me a pm......or an email at [email protected]

I had one back in the day. It was tough to find, but I went looking 'cos the box for the board game had a pic of one on it. (I could tell by the seams it was a model kit and not a toy or prototype.) I THINK it's pretty much the same as the AMT/ERTL one. (Except I THINK it was molded in a dark grey colour.)

I only remeber the first poster book. Have you seen the photonovel? It uses stills from the movie and includes pics from the cut scenes. (Had one when I was a kid, but haven't seen one since.)

Yep got the Photo Novel. I have all the books that were out, The Book of Alien, Photonovel and the Heavy Metal Comic.

Hmm you know I can take a look in the back of the old Famous Monsters magazine. They used to have a page dedicated to just Alien. Perhaps this will help with photos (or product release verification) Will take a look

Now to track them down!! Ive never seen those patches either, those are way cool. Ive got all three of those books, I have about 6 copies of the novel.

I have to post a newer add from later issues, because they also had Nostro Hats as well

I had one of those hats when I was a kid, also ordered from FM's "Captain Company"!

Love it, but I think I left it in a doctor's office one summer day. :(

I still have my older brother's Nostromo cap/hat I got way back then. Used to wear it to high school.
