Silly Swords and Socker Boppers

A couple of things I remember about Socker Boppers, they are no fun if your opponent is five years your senior (they've got the reach) and the edges on those things can cause tears.

My sister and I had Socker Boppers. Trouble is, she's almost 8 years older than me. Who thought that was a good idea! I recall having some kind of inflatable vest you strapped on to protect you. Anyone recall this?

No but I took incredible pummelings from my elder sister as well, I feel your pain. My dad also bought us boxing gloves, I sometimes wonder about him....

I think my brother and I had socker boppers as well. They look so familiar.

Loved socker boppers in the mid 1970s. I was shocked to learn that they still make them.

Maybe what I had wasn't authentic Socker Boppers, but some kind of knockoff. I recall the inflatable vest was yellow on the front and blue on the back, and had a red line drawing of people boxing on it. I think the Boppers were blue and yellow too.

I never had actual Socker Boppers but had the Superhero Super Klobbers. Oh how I would love to have a set of Spidey Klobbers!

Those are too crazy. I remember having something like this. Me and my cousins would go at it with them, eventually ending in a super brawl LOL
