    El Hombre Nuclear BASA

Okay we have talked about this guy alot lately but these questions has never been answered .How rare and hard is it to obtain one? I know Bryan has one loose and a couple of days ago a boxed one showed up on ebay that went for serious money even though the box was thrashed.Do you have to know someone in Peru ? what year did this figure actually come out?I dont really collect foreign figures but this guy is super cool .thanks for your time Mike

There are three known BASA SMDM figures. I have one.
I believe they were released in the early 1980s.
Knowing someone in Peru helps! I have made some friends there.
I imagine this figure is UP there on the RARE MEGO list, considering the numbers of known figures. But for all we know, the market will be flooded and they will be as common as WOZ!!! Yeah, right.

It's rather remarkable to me how many Basas are surfacing now. They were unheard of just a few years ago, right? Between you and Heath it seems the Basa trees have been shaken pretty good.

Yes, the Peruvians have found the Krazy Kollectorz!
I do wonder if this is the beginning or short life of the BASA discoveries.
And yeah, Superman BASA was found first just a short while ago.
Wonder Woman seems to come up quite a bit. Big dollars at first and now she is around $40.
Some other folks around the MM have helped shake the tree, too.
Some combination of one or more of Batman, Robin and Superman have made it into at least a half dozen MM-ers hands, no?

I have 2 Supermans and a Batman and missed out on some other auctions, guess I wasn't shaking the tree hard enough

I have a Minty Superman and a Minty Robin. I believe Mike (Batman MC) also has a few.

            I've only shaken a limb.
