    TMP Enterprise (not Mego)

    Howdy!

On the old boards somebody posted some pics on a Enterprise toy made by a company other than Mego...Anybody recall anything about this?

    Thanks!

      South Bend!!

Thats it, thanks Mike. I thought it was WestBend for some reason, but everytime I did a search I kept coming up with websites about toasters!!!

I used to have one a few years ago.

It was really neat ... I highly recommend getting one.

Fit's in perfect with large scale Playmates ships

My nephew had the South Bend Phaser set.

They're cool, but they're close enough to the Playmates version that it's not worth paying the high price for the South Bends.

One thing I love about the South Bend Enterprise ... I has some features seen on the Phase-2 Enterprise but not seen on the movie ship.

I think it was partially designed during the Phase-2 era.

I agree completely. The saucer section is obviously from the Phase II ship, as is the "wide body" secondary hull. They reworked the deflector disc area, and put new (and somewhat short) nacelles...but othersies this baby was designed from the Phase II model.

They usually go for about $40-50.00 loose to $170.00 MIB

                      The trick is finding them.

Set your ebay search to SOUTH BEND SOUTHBEND TREK and keep watching

Thanks, I'll do that. That price is not bad at all.
