    The 1977 REMCO Toys Catalog

Remco's name was purchased in 1974 by Azrak Hamway, a successful manufacturer of rack toys. AHI used the Remco brand to sell a more upscale toy but one that still utilized the many licenses integral to their core business.
1977 saw the introduction of Mickey Mouse to the fold and more Superhero (especially Batman) related products which would eventually become the bread and butter of the company for the rest of the decade..

Thanks to Steve F. for these marvelous scans also a person with powers.click on the images for pages with descriptions:

Awesome stuff. I had the Star Trek utility belt set. And I always loved the McDonaldland figures......surprised to hear they were a poor seller, as I knew several kids who owned them when I was young. And I didn't know that many kids, so I guess I just happened to know some true McDonalds fans lol

Mind you, I heard that from a guy who worked for the Canadian distributor, so maybe they sold better in the US. Here, I remember the whole set up under glass in an Eaton's store.

I gave Remco a lot of my parent's money as a kid, probably as much, if not more, than Mego!

I had the Spidey utility belt, but never the Batman, oddly enough. My super-anal comic nerd brain thought the Spidey buckle was close enough to Spider-Man's Spidey-signal belt buckle from the comics, but the Batman logo buckle was just too ridiculous for me.

I did have a different version of that Batman gun that projected the Bat-Signal and other Batman shapes on the wall.

The Batcopter and the Trik Trak look like awesome toys.

I would have loved to have that Star Trek pack. The phaser, tricorder and communicator all in one. Trek goodness at its best for a kid.

I want one of those trek utility belts badly, I can't believe nobody has revived the concept.

As a kid I would've gone nuts over the Batman utility belt and phaser. And to be honest, as an adult I'm still excited about those
