The PlaidStallions Trading Post and Marketplace

I get a lot of email here and the ones that aren't in Spanish or about "hard money" are usually folks looking for help in locating a 70s toys. It felt weird saying "Have you tried Ebay?" to people so I decided to start a page where folks can post their want lists and possibly do trades/sales.

This is not a discussion forum (I already have one of those ) but merely a place to hopefully network and track down a few lost friends from childhood.

So, if you're looking for a Stretch Armstrong or trying to unload one, if you need a pistol for your Han Solo or make reproductions, please do visit:

    The PlaidStallions Tradin' Post

Many, many thanks to Tom Ligotti and Joe DeRouen for guidance in creating this page.

Cool idea, it's really nice to have another place to look for old toys. And maybe it will bring some new blood into the hobby.

You gots a caseload of spam there. That is truly amazing how fast the autobots pick up on new traffic sites and start putting up the porn and bad sales links. There really can't be that many folks desperate for kicks that way. It is far too prevalent elsewhere on the web. I wish we were allowed to track down the ISPs and burn the servers up.

btw: thanks for doing such a good job here and keeping that crap outta town.

One of my favorite animation groups was completely ruined by porn spammers. The moderator there finally just gave up and let them have control of it. I am glad you all work as hard as you do to keep us spam free and I thank you for it.

It's one company out of Germany that insists we need to know about Shemales, I need to block their IP address and that'll reduce it by 80%.

It isn't that hard when you have a registered forum honestly, I figured out a couple of tricks. With the PS trading post, I didn't want a registered forum so I used an old board template which has it's disadvantages...

This is great because I was thinking of unloading the ton of old tyco/afx slot (and slotless) race car stuff I have here

Sounds like a great idea to me. I'm always surfing around for random parts and would love a place to focus my searches, especially posting wants. I don't like doing that for non-mego stuff here at the MM.
