    Ding-a-ling cleaning question

Wasnt sure where to post this, so I'll start here. I'm trying to clean a "Ding-a-Ling" car that was mine as a child. I spray painted it red when I was a kid. Now. I'm trying to remove the paint but I dont want to damage the plastic of the car itself. Can any one recommend a good product that can take paint off plastic? Thanks

You can get stuff at the hobby shop that'll do it. It's pretty dangerous stuff though. I've known people to have success with EZ-Off. Do a test first, since both can dry out the plastic.

When I was a little biddy boy
My grandma bought me a cute little toy
Two Silver bells on a string
She told me it was my ding-a-ling-a-ling

My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling
My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling

When I was little boy In Grammar school
Always went by the very best rule
But Evertime the bell would ring
You'd catch me playing with my ding-a-ling

Once while climbing the garden wall,
Slipped and fell had a very bad fall
I fell so hard I heard birds sing,
But I held on to My ding-a-ling

Once while swimming cross turtle creek
Man them snappers right at my feet
Sure was hard swimming cross that thing
with both hands holding my dingaling

Now this here song it ain't so bad
Prettiest little song that you ever had
And those of you who will not sing
must be playing with your on Ding-a-ling

There is a solution that cleans paint off styrene plastic without Damageing the plastics.
the Article was in Figure Modeling magazine about redoing assemabled Model kits,
Let see if I can dig out the mag.

                          Give this a read
                          BSA - Paint Strippers!

It's about stripping plastic model kits, but it applies to other subjects as well.

Personally I swear by the Super Clean (also known as Purple Power).
Been using on model kits for years now.

Ace Hardware carries the Super Clean and it works great. Cant believe how well all the old paint came off. With enough work, I'll have a squicky clean ding-a-ling! (Sorry..I couldnt resist!)
