Boy Scouts Approve Kenner Steve Scout

It would have been disappointing if the Boy Scouts had condemned him...

Yep. Still have mine mint in box, decals and all! He was a fun figure for a young kid.

I had one for a while that I got in a mego lot. Not a bad figure.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

I liked the figure -- I used to have one back in the day.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the joints went loose really fast -- almost while it was still new out of the box.

The joints were designed very poorly

I had Steve as a kid (and was in the Boy Scouts as well). It's a figure I hope to get again someday.

Thanks , I love that for all we all know about toys, figures etc. There always seems to be something we either forgot , or just were not aware of. That;s what makes this hobby continue to be fun.

Did a quick scan on Ebay. Apparently there is a little bit of demand for them. Here's a small 'lot' going for $30.00.

I find that same joy when thumbing through old comic books.

Never knew the line existed back in the day...doubt it saw much of a release in Western Canada..if it was released here at all?

We used to have a tv show up here called the Forest Rangers, about a group of kids who had a base in an old fort, and helped out the local forest ranger. It was cooler than I make it sound, and had a great theme song. Anyways, if they had made figures for that show I would have flipped!
My Sister and I spent hours playing out Forst Ranger adventures using the kids from the Johnny west line.
