Nice! It would go GREAT in our living room (but then again, my wife and I are big fans of Eames Era Space Age style stuff/decor... Kartell, Panton, Knoll, etc.. of "Mid Century Modern" style...)
Our dining room set is one of those big round white pedestal tables with bright yellow "egg shaped" pedestal chairs... and our computer chairs are white versions of the classic star trek chairs.
The retro mod/jetsons decor style never left our house!! (We even painted the frame of our 52" projection TV bright yellow to resemble the old Panasonic TV sets back in the 70's .. they were either yellow or orange.. anybody remember them?)
Our neighbors are all very traditional types so it definitely raises eyebrows!!Comment

Look how contented that couple looks. Yes sirree, they just doled out some big bucks to throw in some new deep shag carpeting, a lime green sofa, and a dirt brown lamp to bring everything together. Tonight at the big fondue party they are having to showcase this to the neighbours, Pa plans to stand up and boldly state that their new look living room is so hip that it will be decades before they have to redecorate again. Saving the family enough money to buy that snazzy new metallic green Ford Granada the family had been eyeing.
Jumping ahead to 2 years later, Pa and Ma are kicking themselves in the head asking "what the hell were we thinking?"....musta been that damn fondue!"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

Personally I think it's hideous. Like some hotel lobby furniture from 1968. Yet it has the charm of warm memories of a time gone by at the same time.

that set would be sweet in a different color. I just built a 2100 sf addition onto my house and that would go great in my new "big" living room....in a more reasonable color of courseComment
