    International Adventure Team

I'm going through an Adventure Team phase right now, probably Palitoy's fault 'cause he posted that 50 adventures of Joe thing. Anyway, I just found a site with pictures of the Brazilian Joes and they are really cool! They remind me of Big Jim in Mexico a.k.a. Esquadron Lobo in terms of the unique characterizations.

For anybody interested in this stuff, some of the unique licensed characters made abroad are amazing. In France, where I think the Mego Might Mightor was an exclusive, they have Joe figure derived from Japanimation.
Anyhow, I just figured people might be able to share some pics/info. here. Show 'em if you've got 'em.

I couldn't get that link to do anything. I've seen a link to that page before, I believe at this really awesome Geyperman site La guia grafica de Geyperman
One of the things I really like about the Adventure Team is that it left a lot of room for you to make up your own stories and stuff as I often didn't bother with whatever the figure was supposed to be.However, I really like the different characters available in other places, particularly if they are just dreamed up by some marketing team. The weirder the better.

I watched a Spanish TV special about Geyperman (which I was atonished to find out was pronounced "Hyperman") and it's interesting to note the brand has been brought back in Spain but not using a Joe body or head.

Yeah, I think I've seen pics of those new Geypermen at the Spanish ebay. They're not so great. The 40th Action Man series is pretty amazing, however. They repro-ed stuff from the whole run, not just the sixties stuff. Is there a way I can find out what the actual names/stories for those Falcon characters are?

WOW! As an adventure team fan, I would have bought up ALL of that Falcon stuff if it had been available in the US.

I used to know of a good Falcon site with all the names, I'll try and dig it up.

                That stuff is fabulous.

Yep, M&C Toys supplies the new Geyperman stuff. Basically Power Team figures....except some have flocked hair.

Ok, I got that link to work, thanks G-Man. That filled in a bunch of blanks for me.
I learned some stuff about Dyna Man too! He's like a flock-haired 12" Mego!

Now, am I mistaken, or are those Brazil Falcon 80 figures Super Joe scale?
A lot of their accessories look borrowed from Super Joe.

Incidently, I also wanted to mention that I came across some figures that look like Super Joes but are actually licensed toys for the Grendizer cartoon series!
Anybody ever get a look at those?

Man, I can't find the site where I saw 'em!
Basically, it was Orion Quest and the other guy with bodies that looked like Super Joe or maybe Space Academy (which may or may not have been the same). I think they were released in France, also possibly Quebec, but I'm just trying to remember what the site said.

Oh man, I forgot! They had accessory sets made up of Super Joe stuff!
