The only colorforms I remember were sealed on the bottom like puzzle boxes.You had to cut between the cardboard bottom to get them opened.
I Never rember seeing a shrink wrap in the stores.

Did the Colorforms sets come sealed in shrink wrap?

I've seen sets from the 80's on eBay that are factory sealed in shrink wrap.

But I've seen many of the sets from the 70's with store price stickers affixed to the box itself, giving the impression that these sets were not shrink wrapped.

Or did the shrink wrap just come off between the factory and the store?
