My earliest memory of her...

Tell me about it.. I remember when Johnny Carson's hair was first turning grey..Yes, I feel old today... They say bad news comes in three's and it certainly did - Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson. It's just about unreal. All icons lost that close together has got to be a first. Our planet feels a little more cold tonight. I hope their all in peace.

With George Harrison leaving us a few years back.., and worries about Peter Tork's cancer popping up again, I've been pretty depressed over all my 'icons'.
Like Mike Nesmith's song poinantly reminds us.., "I'll remember you..."

There was suppose to be one for Ed McMahon but it got bumped because of Michael.Although I don't think the coverage would have been as much (as the MJ coverage) I was looking forward to coming home and watching some retrospectives/news about Farrah but the MJ event just threw her death totally off the front page.
Very sad she got overshadowed on the day we should be remembering her. It won't come again.

Her passing away was sort of a mixed blessing. Of course it's bad that she's gone but she was suffering from a very bad kind of cancer so maybe it was best for her to not suffer anymore. I hope she's in a better place.
RIP Farrah Fawcett, you will be missed.CHECK OUT THE NEW BAT-BLOG!
