Planet of the Apes Colorforms

I love it when a toy concept I adore is crossed over with a license that rules, in this case it's the merging of Colorforms with Planet of the Apes. One of the my favourite things about this piece is it seems strongly influenced by the "Return to the Planet of the Apes" cartoon series.

That show is where is my "Ape Love" originated from, so I'm especially soft when it comes to that.

I always begged for Colorforms (do they still make these or are kids too sophisticated for them now?) and I'm pretty sure I had this one at some point. I was very fastidious about putting all the pieces back on the black trays when i was done playing with them but I have no idea what happened to any of the sets I had. I don't have any.

Those were cool, I had several sets of them, but not the POA ones.
I had the kiss, batman, and a JLA/Superfreinds set that was one of the Deluxe sets with a bigger picture to put them on and tons more little sticker things to use.........
they dont make these anymore do they?
