    Playsets of the Apes

More shots from the 1974 Multiple Toys Catalog featuring these awesome Planet of the Apes playsets, I've seen the packaging on the set bove before but that doesn't mean it wasn't released.

I actually had this set at one point, I love how the soldiers are referred to as "earth men", I guess the folks at Multiple didn't stick around to see the Statue of Liberty...

I never even saw any POTA playsets like this when I was a kid. If I knew they existed, I definitely would have wanted one though.

Wow. Love the gorilla on the right corner. I wish I had something like this when I was growing up. My mom and dad KNEW I loved the movie so much (and still do much to their consternation)...I just feel like I totally missed out now, seeing this.

Great stuff....and more items I always wish I had, but didnt. I actually know the guy who had the molds from Multiple toys. I'll have to ask if he has any of this Apes stuff?
