Anyone know? Stuffed Batman/Superman

I picked these up on the weekend and only had mere seconds to purchase them.

Mistakenly assumed Mego - but they are not.



Anyone know what these are from? There's no tag or date or any other markings on them that would help.

They're both about 2 feet tall. Superman has velcro on his belt for his fists to attach to.

I believe the Superman one is a Knickerbocker from 1979 or so. Just checked Google... guess who was the #1 hit for "Knickerbocker Superman plush?"

Batman's a little trickier. I don't know the manufacturer, but it was a carnival prize in 1989. I won one at a carnival that year.

I think MegoSteve is dead on. My cousin had that big plush Batman during the 89 Bat-mania. Superman definitely looks like the Knickerbocker one.
