12 inch Capt America shield - photo confirm needed

Can anyone post a pic of the official 12 inch Mego Capt America shield front and back? I might have been wreckless and purchased one on auction before I took the time to positively identify it. Old age creeping in...

the musuem that's screaming "rare".

Sorry man, that's definitely not it. The 12" Mego CA shield is indeed molded in red plastic as this one is, but it has a red handle plus two pegs on the back to help hold the shield to the figure's arm, nothing blue. Also, there are no molded lines on the front, like there seems to be on yours. I don't know what your shield is. It's not a shield from the Captain Action Captain America costume either.

If you wish, I can still post pics of mine for future reference. Sorry for the bad news though.

From the front pattern it looks like a FC shield but I'm not certain.

Thanks CJeffreys. Yeah, if you could post some picks I would greatly appreciate it. This is the only missing piece to complete my 12 inch Captain America, so I'm really interested to know what the definitive shield looks like. I just recently picked up the box along with a loose, if not broke, figure. But it had boots and a better costume than the figure I had found at a flee market, so I made some great advances without spending alot of money ($20 for that auction). I'm perplexed as to what shield I got. I checked the FC and Icon figures and none of them have the backing on the shield this one has. I honestly don't know where this came from. If anyone has some ideas I would love to hear them.

That looks like the Spiderman and Friends Cap shield.

Check out this pic of a Spidey and Friends Cap shield. Notice the extra circle around the blue. Looks like Brian was right on the money.

Like I said, the white stripe looks like it's been handpainted by someone, and there are stress marks on the bottom two pegs, but if you want to use this shield as a filler piece for now, PM me your address and I'll ship it out to you. I don't really need it anyway.
