I have long been a fan of the 8" super joe, as well as the 12" Brazillian counterpart.

I've come really close to buying the falcon dolls when they appear on ebay, they are brilliant.

Man, I had no idea of the wild history of this series. I still can't figure out how that Gabriel Lone Ranger sculpt ended up on Super Joe and several Mego offerings.

Current action figure collectors will no doubt know the pain of the Super Joe fan. The rubbery soft goods that companies like Hasbro, Toy Biz and Art Asylum will no doubt disengrate with time. I've heard some say their Toy Biz Lord of the Rings figures are already degrading.

I knew about the Ledy and Ceji stuff, but had no idea about the Brazillian figures! Thanks for the info, and the links. BTW, that looks like a cool forum. I have some interesting reading ahead for me.
