due to the recession prices are rock bottom but even i did not expect to get things that low lol
i could have got lots and lots more cheap stuff today, i turned half of it down.. either i already have or i can go along and get it next week just as cheap as the stuff will still be there lol

buyers market right now... im loving it

my mum would never buy me gum cards when i was a kid lol, due to the fact she didnt like us having gum and you used to get mulit copies of the same card over and over in the packs lol

i started to count the cards earlier i gave up around 400 so theres quite a few there

      lovely deal that

Wow! Dave, You found some really choice goods there. This is the whole reason I love going just to see what I can find next. One just never knows what each sale has in store for us. Some good, some bad and some T-totally friggin awesome! I wish I could get my gf aboard on my shopping sprees as two heads are definitely better than one when it comes to covering more ground looking for goodies. She kind of looks down on sales like it is a "cheap" thing. She doesn't realize that I just cannot go and buy these type of goodies at a store anymore these days. Maybe some day she will come around to my way of thinking. Until then.....Glad to see you are finding some goodies where you are. The weather here has been the pits lately. So that pretty much puts a damper in the sales for me. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, I know what you mean there. I almost kind of hate to say it publicly because of all the peeps that lost their jobs due to the bad recession. However, I am loving it as far as finding goods at a dirt cheap price. I have bought so much here lately that I am almost tapped out of space. I am having a new building built so I can finally go through everything I do have instead of leaving sit in totes.

As far as the cards I can remember buying the original Star Wars packs for about .15 each as a kid. Some where I even have the original cards, sets. wrappers, packs and boxes that they came in. You got an excellent deal on them for sure. I seen them going for a "little bit" on eBay right before the recession kicked in and before the prices took a nose dive. While it pains me to see good people losing their homes and what not in this recession it pleases me to help oblige them in their moment of darkness. I hope that does not come off or sound evil. Each home that is lost = possible more goods to be had because they can no longer be stored. It is a bitter sweet kind of deal.

It is a great thing to have the family on board. Dealers and sellers are always a sucker for the little kid. You got to love it! Since I do not have any children when at all possible I try and have my gf do the haggling as she ALWAYS gets a better deal than I would have on my own when it comes to really high $$$ items. She has that kind of persuasion over the men and some ladies as well. I have tried it before and I know that this works. I went to a dealer and asked the price on something. The dealer more or less would not budge for me. SOOOO I sent my gf over later to inquire about the same item. It is amazing how the prices get slashed when I am not around with her. The guys think she is single and she really puts on a good show for them. After all that is her profession as well. Shake that money maker!

Super cool! Bubble cards were so cool back in the day. I'm sitting here watching the updated version of Rear Window w/ Christopher Reeves (RIP) and remembering when he was Superman. He was always so handsome!

AArrrrrggghhhh!! I'm so jealous of those awesome cards! I used to collect Star Wars cards when I was a kid and I still regret getting rid of them.
