    Yard Sale Finds!

Yard sale season has kicked in around here and I've been going non stop for the last 8 days or so. I've had quite a run. I buy all kinds of stuff from vintage clothes to stereo equipment to, of course, TOYS!

Anyway, just thought I'd share some of my toy scores in the last week or so. I think I'm only in this load about $30. Not bad. The Hot Wheels are all redline and the thingy to the left of the Hot Wheels is a RRRumbler. The dinosaur set is 60's marx set (75 cents!) and a shload of Adventure People.

My best non toy score was a pile of old military t-shirts last weekend worth about $1500!

Anybody else been hittin' the sales?

Dude, you have got a magic touch. If I found this much stuff in a summer I'd be overwhelmed.

It's still too cold for sales here but I'll likely get on my bike this weekend and check out a bunch.

        That's a nice haul for 30bucks.

Man, we are garage sale happy in this neck of the woods, but you would be lucky to find some bashed up 80s Barbie, much less a boxed speeder. And that Marx dino set is the shiznit! Double your money - $1.50 for it right now. jk
good score. Good luck with the up and coming season!

Yeah, some RRRumblers are worth BIG bucks, unfortunately this one is more common and is about $30-$40.

I found a bunch of them about 8 years ago and was getting $250 or $300 a pop on a few of 'em.

They don't turn up that often.

Very nice haul! I am a Garage Sale fanatic as well, glad to see pics of your results, would be nice to see what some people have found at Garage Sales.

Great haul! This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous in my neck of the woods, so I might try to look for some sales in my area. I have terrible luck, I've never found anything that great so far. You've mentioned before how lucrative vintage clothing can be. I really should try to research that stuff a bit, because it sounds like there can be some good stuff for sale out there that I currently would be completely clueless about.

Very nice yard sale finds. Hate to say but the way things are going, I think this year will be bad for sellers but great for buyers.

That is a terrific haul!!!! Just for a week I'd like to follow you and Greg around! So far this year I've picked up an 8mm movie projector, some vintage stereo equipment (nothing great), some collectible glasses and a Kung Fu TV soundtrack album. Not much as far as toys but the hunt is still fun.
