If someone reports him ebay will end the auction. You agree to accept Paypal when you sell on ebay now.

Having said that, it's a hell of a nice playset :-)

Fxtoys especially should know that you must offer Paypal these days.

Using an AFA graded Yoda as your gallery pic probably won't help with the sale either lol.

Man, those Ideal hero playsets perfectly capture the Silver Age comic world in kiddie plastic. It's like a 60's comic book come to life. I'll never own one (don't really have the desire) but I've always admired them....

I'm not much a fan of 60s toys in general but this one is something I really drool at.

In theory I think it's valued at around $5K. A sealed one MIMB might be worth double that in good times. The way some Grail items have been selling lately though it's anyone's guess, it might be a chance to pick up a bargain

God, I love that playset. If I had the cash, I would so buy that.

As for Paypal, you don't have to accept it if you have your own credit card merchant account instead, which this seller seems to have, so he isn't breaking any ebay rules. He doesn't say that he's accepting checks or money orders, just credit card.

On another note, that seller is a great person to deal with. I got my comic action batmobile from him two years ago.

Wow. Definitely one of the rarest rarest super hero toys ever. There were other, smaller sets made, but this is the big one. It would be beyond cool to own it, but it's not happening for this boy.

I love how it's "Batman and the Justice League of America". Heck, the JLA comic was like that for awhile. Batman always appeared on the covers, at least twice as big as every other character during the Bat-craze. So it really is like Silver Age DC of the time!
I never knew it came with unpainted Batman and Robin figures in the Batmobile. And the key/weather vane is clearly evoking the Fortress of Solitude's giant key. And you get Johnny Thunder's Thunderbolt as a villain! Cool!
