At our cabin I still have my old 1985 Redline 600c chromoly. I'm thinking of fixing it up to give to a nephew soon.

A little late getting in on this one.
My first BMX was a yellow and blue Puch (not a Puch Murray though). That was replaced by a Mongoose Wire Wheel.
Much later (mid 90s) I got a Haro from the local tip. Next came a DP Firebird Freestyler (again mid 90s) which I swapped for some Star Wars figures. I finally got the BMX I still own, a GT Fueler in 1996. That bike has served me very well and still gets used when my lad is out on his new mongoose.
My latest aquisition is this though.....

Everything I know and do on a big bike was learnt cutting my teeth on a BMX years ago."I should say I`m very much cleverer than any of the people who put me here. As a matter of fact, I could leave any time I wanted. It`s only a doll`s house after all. Anyway, I don`t mind. I like dolls" - The Mad Hatter, Arkham Asylum.Comment

In my day bikes had to have bannana seats, ape hanger handlebars, and "mag" rear wheels to be cool. By the time BMX style bikes came along me and my buddies had moved onto dirt bikes.
