Old Halloween costume

I was thinkin' about old costumes from the 70's and couldn't remember the name of one collection. Would have been out late 70's or so, had a weird cartoon inflatable monster that you'd wear as a hat. Anyone else remember those?

THAT didn't take long....

I think these were the most bizarre idea EVER. Even when I was a kid. I had the bat one; not for the costume but 'cos I wanted the giant inflatable bat. I cut the headgear off.

I remember he eventually died in a spectaculr way, but I don't remember the specifics. Funny thing; it was right around the time I lost my can of helium and the sparker me and my gran'pa had built.

I remember those. I was too much of a corporate mark to get one though. Had to go trick or treating as a licensed character, or bust.
