Yeah, but what kind of boots were they selling?
(Just Kidding. I know that's a term for some kind of flea market in UK, right?)
Nice finds. I'd have snapped them up for those prices, too.
    But who's Larry?

Can't beat those prices. And I believe you can get replica stickers for the missing Batmobile grill and emblems for the doors from thatbatmanguy

I think you are right about the stickers but isn't the grille plastic pieces? I think I have seen them for sale before as well (pieced out).

Door stickers and Tail Light stickers from ThatBatmanguy. Grills, exhaust pipes, circle on top and steering wheel from doc mego. In process of rebuilding mine too!

Great scores. I have come up totally empty lately.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

Do all worn Batmobiles have a break in the overhead divider like that? My childhood one did. And why is the siren orange? Did someone paint it, or is that the color plastic under the chrome/vac-plating?

                Good pickup though!

I thought carbooth sale was a garage sale, maybe a bootsell is a yard sale.

I just assumed since boot is what they call the car's trunk and some people park their cars at the flea market with the trunk open behind them. Hence "boot sale"?
Perhaps a yard sale is a "garden sale"? hehe
I have no idea what they call garages. Oh wait, they pronunce it like "carriages". hehe

yeah boot sale is exactly what it says

today there was around 300 cars, all parked in rows, like someone said all the car boots and hatch backs are open and you have a table or 2 behind your car with your goods and stuff on...
it is a designated place to hold a boot sale though, you cant exactly just park up on the side of the road and start selling megos out of your boot/trunk lol

the boot sale place has to be properly organised, with sufficiant access for emergency vehicles can be held in an unused car park or supermarket car park type of thing... think about it, where there is 300 odd cars there is around 600 odd customers looking around, all who bring there own cars and park up, so its a big event

we dont do yard sales as such, if i put all my stuf out on the lawn for a yard sale folks would be running off up the street with the stuff lol and you would be looked on as a bit of a tramp and a bit desperate to do that

over it would be house clearance, folks would be invited in and put offers in for the whole house full of stuff, furniture toys dishwashers tv the lot lol

id love to come to the states and go to a garage or yard sale

In AZ you can do that (have a "yard sale"/boot sale) as long as there aren't signs prohibiting it. Used to be on almost every major corner where there was a vacant lot people would park their cars (not items, just the whole car. Like a used car lot almost)for sale but someone decided to spoil it and they made a law where you can't do that if there's a sign prohibiting it now.

We call that an Estate Sale but you can buy individual items throughout the house, not the whole kit & kaboodle.

Your one Savy Bargain Hunter. Great Deals. Yeah, you would have a Blast at yard sales. I use to Live in Salinas Ca. and We would drive over to Monterey for the Yard sales. It was pretty much people just giving away there stuff. Talk about some great bargains. Now that times are hard I doubt that you would find the same great deals. But you never know
