Help me ID a couple toy pistols - I have no pics.

    Hi.
One of them shot different colored plastic disks a little smaller than a US Nickel. It was late 70's early 80s, I think. You could load a bunch of them at once.

The other one shot little yellow plastic BB's that got big when you chewed on them. mid 80's, I think. Pics, names, or link please.
    Thanks.

I think the first gun you're talking about is a tracer gun. I loved these as the discs would fly forever!

I remember the other one because we used them when we played TAG back in high school. They were sold in toys stores and, although they shot a decent distance, they never really hurt. In fact, sometimes, you wouldn't even know you were hit.

It's got Kirk and Spock on it, is it really a ST item? or a wannabe?

Yeah, we used both of these in school playing "assassin", but now you'd probably get expelled in about 5 sec.
Thanks Man of Action that is the other one. Can't find a pic though. Some ammo on ebay. Interesting they were made by the same company.

They were licensed. Later on they made a more accurate phaser version as well.

Haven't seen the disks one in ages. Those were tons of fun, but my mom would vacuum up the little disks which ticked me off.
They still sell one that shoots the little plastic bb's at the dollar store near me. How do the bb's get bigger when you chew on them? Sounds weird.
