I got this striped Shore Patrol set this week. This is a 1967 only release, the radio, helmet, armband are all specific to this 1967 set. It's referred to as the Striped SP because of the helmet stripe.

Helmet is missing the black strap, but has both lugs. It came with the snap SP armband that only came with this set. The belt and baton are original too, I had to add the .45 and holster as it was missing. The pants are correctly tagged as well.

I popped it on a circle(r) 1960's painted hair black soldier and he's going on the shelf with my other talking sailor striped SP set



Also got another Marine Jungle Fighter put together recently. The newest one is on the far right. He's a TM Black Action Soldier.

That picture in the back is actually the original cut box top for the MJF photo box.

Sweet Finds! The Striped SP set is truly a scarce item and a challenge to find! The Marine Jungle Fighters are outstanding!

Dunno how 'classic' it is, but I found an original Radio Shack/Tandy Armitron at a GoodWill the other day. I paid a buck, and was a bit shocked that it actually works!
(Also got a bag of older plastic horses in the bargain. They look and smell pretty old, and are crusted with filth.)
