Ideal Toy Line to be Featured on Lawrence Welk!

The Lawrence Welk show, repulsive to me as a child, downright hypnotic to me now.....

It's the bubbles. They lure kids in every time! Funny how I used to make fun of that show but now I'll actually sit through part of it. Man, I must really be getting old.

"Good night...good night....may all your dreams burn bright.........."

Its been 30+ years and I still cant get that darn song outta my head!!!!

Seems toy marketing has come a loooooong ways since the days where being featured on Lawrence Welk seemed like a good thing!!

I used to spend weekends with my grandparents. Every Saturday evening (early evening) we'd have Lawrence Welk on and then Hee-Haw...lol Those shows were/are corny, but they do bring back a lot of great memories, for me.

Like Brian said, it's hypnotic now. Can't turn it off once it hits the screen.
I hated it as a kid though.
Now it's just a nice memory of a simpler, happier, carefree time.
Even if it is a bit corny. You always see someone on there that looks like someone you knew back then (clothing/hairdos).
