    Weebles!

Popped up some scans from the Weebles section of the 1975 Hasbro Catalog this evening. Although I never had them (my parents were firmly in the Fisher Price camp), I sincerely envied those who did.

Had most of that stuff. Had the Treehouse, had the Ranch and the horse and wagon, had the Camper(the one with the blue truck) and the playground set. Had the Circus, had the Haunted House, had the Pirate Ship. Fun thing I use to do with that. I took the cannon from the Circus set and used it for the Pirates. Weebles were my second favorite thing after Megos back in the day.

I was all about articulation, but somehow I still loved weebles. How those little guys managed to be so endearing is beyond me. But who could not love these?

Weebles were great little projectilres for throwing at your brother too, because the bottomweight would just carry them perfectly, and the size was exactly right for fitting in your hand.

They still make them, just not like this. The new Weebles look too much like the new Little People at least I think so.

Did they have any Superhero Weebles?? I seem to remember a spiderman one.

I can't find anything on Google, I guess there wasn't.
