I had a luke and bobba fett from the originals, but I bought a ton of the newer ones, why did hasbro do that with the sith wave really, the boxing sucked, as did the figuresCheck out my Electronic Mag here Psycho Styrene Modeling MagazineComment

Interesting that this would come up a day after moving some figures into my new Ikea "detolf's", as my Stormtroopers hand kept falling out of the socket. I thought it was a crude glue job an ebay seller never mentioned that had just escaped my notice. So, it's a plastic chemical reaction? anything one can do to prevent further erosion?Comment

I have a MIB set, all original. I acquired most of them in one shot in 1995 and finished the set not long after that. I treasure these as much as any of my Megos. Unfortunately, Darth Vader's arms have fallen off since this photo was taken. Sorry about the partial obstruction:

Slowly but surely these guys are begining to take up quite a bit of space, but I am really enjoying them arriving in the post.
Boba Fett has to be one of the best large sized action figures ever.
A quick peek at my guys and gal so far.....

I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

I've had them all and sold and/or traded them... a few times.
Right now I only have the Chewbacca, R2 (missing his death star plans) and Jawa. I don't think I'll be getting rid of them again, but I always say that.
I miss the Luke and Ben a bit, but really just for the faces - I think I'm going to hit up a shrinker one of these days for whoever hasscale kenner sculpts and merge the two addictions. The figures are great but I just can't support the size - they're way too big for my space.
Way back when I made a custom Kenner Darth where I swapped the head out with a custom base so he had a removable helmet top. The Anakin head underneath I did in a retro Kenner vibe - it looked pretty nice (if just a little MANTECH). I wish I'd kept photos because I don't know the person that ended up with it ...
Right now I've got my Kenner Chewie in one of those Hasbro VOTC 12" boxes, and he looks pretty happy there.
...Which reminds me it's time to post another !2" figure fleaComment

These figures are all time classics for larger dolls of that era.I had every one except leia,They all had great quality and parts to feel like you were the characters at playtime. The new lines never turned me on at all and nothing can ever compare to this 12 inch line of a short lived shelf life of vintage action figures.
