    Heroes World

As a kid I would get the Superhero Catalogs in the mail from Heroes World in New Jersey. One even had the supposed lay-out of the store. I was obsessed with wanting to go there but never did make it. I'd love to hear if anyone ever went there and what the experience was.

We always did our shopping in New Jersey at the Woodbridge Mall even though we lived out of state. My parents would park me in Heroes' World and I would stay there happily while they did their shopping. As I recall, it was every bit as exciting as their catalog!

I worked at the Woodbridge Heroes World from 89-94. It was a really fun place to work. The warehouse in Randoplh NJ had a stack of the Hulk inflatable muscles up in the attic part of the warehouse, pretty cool.

As far as shopping there as a kid... It was awesome the entrance looked like the Hulk busted through the wall. It is the only place I ever saw the Teen Titans in a store. I remember the wall that had them and other megos, and in the middle they had freestanding shelved that had the Kiss mego figures. I also bought a mego Aquaman in a sealed shipping bag there, then returned it the next day because he had pointy ears! I also got the Ben Cooper Thing jiggler there.

              those were the days....

              For the love of Mego's
