That's cool. Does anyone know if the Captain america figure is articulated like the other Team America figures, or it just some kind of unarticulated figure? Is it the same size too? I've never seen it before.

It's not articulated at all. He's posed in a sitted position at about 5" tall. His shield kind of snaps onto his arm.

I received a Team America dirt bike set one Christmas and loved it. Of course it's just like Evel Knievel set. Anyway, had I known this one existed, I would have been all over it. It must not have been very common in the early '80s either.

Rampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?

While I don't think this one is the same, the last boxed one of these sets on Ebay went for $450. That's probably where he got his price. I picked up a complete loose set for $40. I still need a chopper to complete a second set if anyone has one for sale.

I remember seeing a comic-art ad for this on the back of either a regular Marvel comic or one of the Team America insert comics. I had to TA toys, one was the dirtbike with a hard plastic, static-pose rider, the other was a dune buggy with a fully articulated character, based on the Marvel comic series. I believe he was the Hispanic guy, Lobo. The figures were a bit shorter than Megos, but that didn't stop me from using them together. I had had an Evel Kneivel stunt cycle set, so I knew these were just the same thing again, but they were cool, so who cared.

I'm surprised they didn't do a Ghost Rider set too.
