    One Night Only

It's the "Three Neat Guys" and they'll be singing all your grandparents favourite songs, act now, tickets are going fast!

Warning: The First Three Rows will get rocked!

Today, I've got a cool one, it's from my Megomuseum co-hort (and the site's founder) Scott Adams and it's all about his obsession with Sesame Street Finger Puppets.

World's Greatest Sesame Street Finger Puppets is an exhaustive and very pretty look at the history of these little beauties. As a kid, I found a couple of these in a tree of all places, each puppet was on a different branch at a park. Oh and Scott is even selling some extras in case the site gives you "the itch"

In regard to Scott's SSFP site, nice job! That pic of you in the Pooh Bear jammies is priceless! I can appreciate this site b/c I've always been a fan of SS, I had a gift set as a kid, plus a Cookie Monster hand puppet.

        Great site!

Oh, and I love Scott's site, BUT he needs to stop tempting me with Sesame Street items. I can NOT collect another line.

BUT HOW CAN I DENY ROOSEVELT FRANKLIN?!?!?

                Thanks for the pick, Brick!

These outfits remind me: When are we going to have a nice long discussion about the uber weirdness that was the Lawrence Welk show?

YES!I'd actually like to know why I can never change the channel when it's on. It was repulsive to me as a child but now I'm like a kitten with a laser pointer.

ME TOO! It's a horrible car crash, every second of it. I can't turn away. The sprayed, unmoving hair and perpetual smiles. The endless array of color coordinated parade float outfits. The polka sequences. 3 minutes of uninteruppted accordian solos with friendly winks to the camera. My grandparents watched in every sunday before 60 Minutes. It comes on now and it's pure nostalgia, I want to lay on my belly in front of the tv and color with magic markers.

OMG!!! I thought it was just me!
I hated that show when I was a kid but I do the same thing you guys said, too.
I can't change the channel. I know all the songs and it brings back happy feelings of childhood in the 70's and remembering my grandparents, etc.
Maybe it's because everything on today is such dreck and so unwholesome that something like LW really stands out. It really shows you how far society has fallen in just 30 years.
But Brian, isn't Lawrence Welk still new episodes in Canada? It is still the 80's there, right?
