I know the first four comes with either a pistol or spear. I have ming for my childhood, I really wanted flash but the store was sold old of him.
Ming and Flash came with the white pistol
Thun and Lizard Woman came with the white spear.
The last four, I only show for sell in the Sears Chrismas/Toy Catalog, A couple of the figure were shown with accessaries for that could just have been for the photo.
I alway figured the Zarkov and Capt Arak came with the pistol
Beastman and Vultan with the Spear. Never knew for sure.

        Hiya Drain,

No accessories for those FG figures. Unless you count the wings for Vultan. No pistols or spears, however. Cap Arak does have a holster, so I would suppose his weapon is in it at the ready.

I love these figues too. I have everyone of them and the ships too.

I've thought about expanding the line to include some of the other characters from the cartoon that didn't get produced. To keep the new figures as close to the ones mattel produced, I will work from the basic 8 figures. I have some extras with paint rubs, so all I would have to do is pop them apart, do some sculpting and then mold and cast. These would be cast in color, so no painting would be needed. Heck, I can even make display boxes for them too. I've already started casting up the weapons that came with the original figures. I've got a list of customs here somewhere, but here's a few off the top of my head:

            Dale Arden
            Princess Aura
            RobotMen
            Prince Baron
            Treemen
            Hawkmen & Women
            Improved Lizardwoman
            Azura

I know I had about 20 different ones that I could make. This might be something I tackle this spring.

            Any thoughts?

            Bob

I remember seeing this line in stores a lot when I was very young. I'm not sure why I never had any, though. I think they look great and like a lot of fun.

I must have gotten the second series from Sears because they all came with the weapons. Dr. Zarkov and Captain Arak came with the laser pistol and Beastman and Vultan had spears.

Sears is were I saw them too. However they could have been packaged with weapons and the carded version not. An exsample is the vintage Kenner Star Wars Yak Face only avaliable in Canada and overseas. I cann't remember excactlly which one right now, but one place had the Figure carded with a staff and the other had card with no staff. The same with Megos, Comic Action in the US had stand and the one released in Europe no stands.

That's a pretty cool idea. I used the mego PSH Lex Luthor for the villian from the episode with Queen Undinah. He was perfect.

That's how my set came too. I still have the white mailer boxes they came in. I worked my butt off that summer and bought the whole set from Sears.
