    Topper Toys Ding-A-Ling Robots

Over at the Universal Monster Army forum someone posted a picture of some non-monster toys that they collect. I immediately recognized a robot that I had as a kid. It was the Topper Ding-A-Ling robot named Claw. I hadn't thought about him in years. And never knew his name. I Googled it and found this website --

    http://www.topperdingalings.com/

While looking through it I noticed the Ding-A-Ling Mobile. I have one of these and didn't know what it was! Mine's missing the windshield and the blue bar that goes on it. Everything I read about it says that it's rare. How rare is it? What might it sell for on eBay?

    Thanks for any help.

    THAT'S WHAT THOSE TOYS WERE!!!
I have been trying to figure out for decades what that toy was that I had as a kid. I remember my grandmother buying it for me at a catalog store. It had blue plastic tracks with gearing in the centerline that these little robots rode on. That was all I could remember. I was going to post a thread about them but didn't think I had enough info. I always thought maybe I had Zeroids but was pretty sure they weren't. I remember one of the track pieces had a pointy end and I poked a bunch of holes in the acoustic tile ceiling. I wonder if that's why it disappeared? LOL
    Cool!

Cool! I had the King Ding as a young kid, but he lost an arm within a year and ended up in the trash. I kept my Brain robot up to my senior year of high school. One of these days I'd like to replace him. I miss my Brain

I also had a King Ding as a small child. I believe it had a working elevator for the Brain robot to go up and down. I think mine lasted a day or two before it was pulled out. I too have wondered about the ding-a-ling mobile. I have one but it is in terrible shape. Overall a great line of toys!
