A toy I had as a kid, can not remember the name

I had this one toy and DAMN I can not remember the name ... I had the god guy and my friend had the bad guy. They had these tilt sensor when you tilt back is sounded like it was going up and tilt down it sounded like it was going down. and when one would shoot at the other they would stop making noise and beep. Any one remember them and have a name.

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows what this is.

It sounds like it would be by the same makers as the Star Bird ... Same principle

Man, something about that sounds very familiar. I think I may have had this, as well. Would it have been in the early to mid 80s?

Never seen that before but it's kinda cool. I probably would've liked it had I had one back then.

I still have three of these. I have two starbirds , one older and one newer (the differnce was the color of the removable star ships from the tail and the decals) as well as the black ship (the enemy) the intruder

Oh yeah! I remember that toy. As a Vintage Toy Dealer I would always see it at garage sales ( a long time ago ) & for the 1st few seconds I would think it was a Star Wars toy, ha ha! I have NOT seen one in quite awhile.
