    Jigglers again

A while back there was some discussion of jigglers. I was trying to identify one I had from my childhood. I never got around to taking a photo, but found some on eBay and elsehwere. My jiggler looks like the alligator pictured below (but it has the colors of the hippo on the left). I guess it's a Russ Berrie oily jiggler, according to an eBay auction ending tonight with an identical alligator jiggler (already over $100!).

Sweet Jesus!! I had that exact elephant when I was growing up. I have no idea where I got it from or where it's gone to. Seems to me it was always on on my desk hutch for some reason. I remember it being rubbery and lint & hair always sticking to it.

Man, what a memory flash. Thanks SC.

I have never seen these animal ones before. I've just seen the ones of monsters & weird aliens. Oh yeah, they made some of a gorilla, which is an animal, but I think it was suppose to be King Kong.

a bit late with a reply, but the Russ Berrie jigglers all seem to have had some kind of official name for each character they made. Must be some real info out there somewhere? I also know they seem to sky rocket in prices on ebay.

Wish I could help you more with these type, but that is out of my area
