Do these three names mean anything to anyone else in the world besides me?
For years I have been looking for an obscure line of toy tools made in the seventies. They were plastic tools with human features and each one was sold on a blister card with a plastic gadget for them to work on. The three names I remember are Patrick Pliers, Roger Wrench, and Molly Hammer, although I think there was at least one other. I've typed these names into online search engines and discussed them in yahoo toy collecting groups, but I always come up empty. What's more, they also made a version of these toys as Disney characters. You'd think that might make them a little easier to track down, but it doesn't.
Yet, I know as sure as I'm sitting here that these toys did in fact exist! As I remember, they were rather cheap dime store toys, but somebody somewhere must have played with them besides me!
Any info would be great!
