    The 1980 Larami Toys Catalog

Larami was one of the better known Rack Toy companies in the seventies and early eighties. The company had a merchandising system known as "Code A Matic" and considering they were a subsidery of "Tasty Baking Corporation" most likely had their own merchandising representatives as well.

1980 saw their toy division offering their staple of regular products, such as tool kits, wallets along with some interesting items such as Lite Writers, Star Trek the Motion Picture toys and the company decided to enter into the arena of action figures with the Martian Chronicles line.

    Very cool !!!
I never knew they made so much stuff.

BTW, the Star Trek silly putty link doesn't work to enlarge.

It seems they had both a toy division and a rack toy division, I have another 1980 catalog for them.

Thanks on the link Mike, I fixed it.

I have the Battlestar Galactica version of that space viewer around here in my pile...err collection. The cartoon strip scrolls had the absolute worst artwork I have ever seen in my life....imagine the Trek one was no better.
I believe Larami also released a three wheeled car/spaceship thingie that was based on the Battlestar Galactica set as well.

Wow, those brought back some memories. I had the Hulk bubble machine (I still remember that painted cardback), and I remember those roller skates, although I don't think I ever had any. I have the Super Jrs. flash cards now. By the way Brian, that link isn't working, and I'd really like to get a better look at those lite writers.

                Great stuff!

Thanks Brian! Those are pretty cool, and ahead of their time. Seems like something from the late 80s.
