I love all the PS pics, but these really take me back for some reason. Makes me think of the pea green sculptured carpet in our living room where I grew up, and the panel walls. I can almost hear Molly Hatchet's Beatin' the Odds coming out of my portable 8-track player - powered by six D-cells baby.

My basement is finished with two big rooms and a smaller office. One day when the kids don't need the space, I'm going retro. I'm talking the "good paneling" and orange and brown shag. Somehow I'll work some green and gold in too, whether it matches or not. The uglier, the better really. I've still got my grandpa's quadraphonic system in working order, and vinyl will be king again. Someday.

You think yellow was popular? Man, try imagining everything in Avocado green, Burnt orange and chocolate brown! My grandma was into LILAC/ORCHID colors!
We had orange berber CARPET in our kitchen with that fake thin brick on the wall.
Man I'll have to try to dig out some pics.

Avocado green rules! It's just that my wife doesn't think so, so our house looks normal
              It's all good!
