    What time is it?

Why, it's half past hideous! I think the stand out, greatest pieces are those cats, if I could find a case of those I'd give them to every friend and family member I knew, just to see who loved me enough to actually display it.

I'm thinking even my Gramma would pitch this the moment I left the house.

New Blog! New Blog! New Blog!

Because I had nothing better to do, I have created another blog. This time to squeeze some sort of meaning out of the vast amount of time wasted in watching sitcoms throughout my life. I lost a semester of college to "Out of this World" and "Leave it to Beaver" every day, so please check out my semi-literate ravings on
    Sitcom Diablo.

I think one of my Aunts had #10. That looks very familiar.

What was up with the milk cans back in the 70s (#10)? My mom had two of 'em in our living room, painted and decalled and serving as end tables . . .

I don't know but even in the 90's my buddy was getting good money for painting those.

I was wondering something similar- What was our fascination in the 70's with things from the late 1800's? Its didn't just end with milk cans and that hideous floral designs. Was 'Little House on the Prairie' really that influential? Even toys were not immune to this trend as well-represented by Holly Hobby.

You triggered a memory for me Bill. My mom had little die cast collectibles of antique phones, churns, phonographs etc too. They were displayed in a glass cabinet below my father's guns. Man, I came from two very different people.

My grandmother had a green version of the sprinkler can clock, item "J". It was right above her oven.
