I hope the C75D is a little smaller then the last release a few years ago.
It was just too big, making the thing run about $50.00 when it was new.

This is terrific news, my kids and I did a bunch of Aurora issues this Halloween for our centerpiece and they really enjoyed the experience.

Weird that the Creech isn't in that Revell reissue however...

I'd love to see a reissue of the Revell Bonanza's Ben, Hoss and Joe kit.

Cool. Looking forward to seeing what the Green Goblin is going to look like. Sinbad looked good as well.

              Hmmmm....

I want my reissue Monster Scenes dammit! The local hobby shop had a few listed on their order form: Dr Deadly and the Giant Insect this month, the Pendulum and Hanging Cage next.

It's good to see some of them spaceship kits too, since I've been looking for them the last few years.

                Say;

I've been wondering how Moebius snagged molds for the Giant Insect. That's a super-rare kit.

....although when I was a little kid (2 or 3) I went through at least three of 'em.

                  Sweet!!!
Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"

Frank had an original kit reversed-engineered in China.

Yeah, I saw the Sinbad at Wonderfest this year. Looked good to me too.

It's the same kit. The BIG one. I'm guessing the price will be close to $75 this time around.

Never going to happen. Too many licensing issues.

2009 will be a great year for styrene kits.

                      HEY!

Got some of them reissue Monster scenes today! Got the Giant Insect and Doctor Deadly. They're durned near identical to the originals! I think they're even molded in the same colours.

...AND they have the little comic book style instructions!

I highly recommend them. I've already started building mine. Can't wait for the Pendulum.

MY only question is: does anyone know if the instructions for the Insect are copies of the original? I have NO memory of the original instructions for this one....

That's odd about Rommel's Rod. Mobius Models had been working on a Reissue for quite a while and then dropped it (as it's gone from their website)- I guess they heard Revell was reissuing the original.

Anyway- I can't wait for the Leif Erikson ship, Spock, etc. Glad someone is still releasing 60s-70s stuff. I just hope they release everything with repro boxes.

It may be that the Creature molds are so out of shape they can't be used anymore. I got the last reissue and it took a lot of putty work and swearing to make the pieces fit together right.

Mr. Spock Vs. the Snakes model was the first Star Trek thing I ever got when the Star Trek fever hit me in 1975.

The art on the box was incredible(this is wallpaper I made):

and the buildup I did on the kit I won on Ebay a few years ago (I still have what is left of the original model too)

They better reissue the kit with the original art

Wow, I completely forgot about the Spock model. I had that as a kid. These pictures brought back the memories. Great artwork!
