    The Worst Costumes Ever

Wow, Retrocrush really nailed some amazing lame costumes in their worst-ever list. Did they miss anything?

That said, I actually like this one. I don't know if I would have liked this as a kid, but it seems uber-cool now-

I actually like the Flipper and Jaws costumes. They seem neat to me. No more odd than all of the parents who dress their kids up as pumpkins or ladybugs today. Plus, the Jaws one could be the land shark from SNL
    It's all good!

I wrote a similiar piece for TR this month, I'm happy I didn't do the exact same ones as Retro Crush, I had forgotten about that wonderful list.

The rubiks cube is totally weak. I would've stolen all that kids candy, just on principle.

I think the asteroids is the weakest. I would've shot him just to see if he broke up into 3 or 4 smaller kids, running in different directions. Ooooh, look at me I'm an asteroid, I don't even have a face, so why have a mask?
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Wow, they are all really bad. Hard to believe they really got made!

I hope Toyroom makes each and every one into a Mego.

I like the Easy Reader costume too, but the hat makes him look like Jimmie Walker.

That hat definitely adds a stick of "Dyno-Mite!!" to the look, although I think it's a fairly accurate likeness to Morgan Freeman. The "Leather Guy from the Village People" costume made me laugh out loud!! Definitely the scariest of the lot...LOL!!

It's hard to believe some of these were real. Easy Reader was pretty cool back in the day, and was prominently featured on the Electric Company, and it's comic spin-off, Spidey Super Stories. He's far less lame than Ant-Man, really.

Small Wonder though? That's akin to going as the devil in my book.

Gosh, I don't think those costumes are that horrible, LOL. Most of them were at least relevant for their time. However the Rubiks Cube and Asteroid ones are just kinda stupid, to be honest.

That Father Murphy mask immediately made me think of Torgo.
