    Prehistoric RC

My pal George at the Mego Forum turned me onto these cool toys from 1973, these two dinoaurs seem to be exclusive to Sears. What a no brainer, light up remote controlled dinosaurs. Like probably every boy (and likely a bunch of girls), I went through a dinosaur phase in my life and these would have been high on my wishlist had I seen them.
    Vintage Halloween:

Russ from Toytraderz.com sent me a pile of coolness that I'll be showcasing all this week, the first is this superbad Bigfoot costume. Much like Gavin MacLoed, Bigfoot attained a certain celebrity status in the 1970's, he was everywhere for a while.

Those Dinosaurs wold have been AWESOME threats to heroes back in the day. Heck, I would have had them chasing half the toys I owned!

That bigfoot costume is a big batch of 70's Ben Cooper! Even the picture on the chest has his foot sticking up so you know who the kid is supposed to be. I do have a question, though- why did Supes come with a mask? I guess it was simply so the wearer could feel "costumed."

There is a RC stomposaurus in a plastic case on an endcap at my local Target. Scared the heck out of my boy when he pushed the demo button. I had a similar thought of the thing chasing my BC characters around the yule tree this year. Too much fun.

That bigfoot costume is AWESOME. My wife is a huge sasquatchian. I will have to send her this pic.

      thanks for sharing, as always

I think those are the dinos my brother and I got one Christmas. Pretty fun, but not super durable.

Why am I reminded of the GEICO caveman commercials by that Big Foot Costume?
                  It's all good!

Cool Sasquatch mask. Not sure why Superman wears a mask, but the costume looks great
