help remembering

Hiya Folks,


Trying to remember a toy from early/mid 70's. I believe it was Mattel. Looked like an eagle or falcon (some bird of prey). I believe it ran on a string line of some sort and picked up an object at the end of the line. It was pretty big as I recall. At least the size of a younguns forearm. Can't remember if the wings were styrofoam or plastic. Maybe shaped 'foam?? I think that might be it. I seem to remember repairing the thing more than once.

Hot Birds was the line of Hot Wheels jets by Mattel, so that wasn't it.


rche- I seem to recall a similar toy - like an eagle, that did something like this. Can't recall the name.
