    What a terrific display!

Somewhere in my boxes, I still have a couple of those (built-up).
    Must sort them out.

Photos like these bring back memories!

      >that takes alot of room from what I have seen.

      It'll fill a 6 foot by 2.5 foot table.

      >I have also gotten the full Tamyia dinosaur model line that is similar to the Aurora line as far as interlocking bases,

I've seen those! They're very nice, and hard to resist!

      >I had at least two of those Tar Pit kits when I was a kid.

When it comes to collectibles, "rare" is a relative term. The Prehistoric Scenes are all fairly common. I suspect it's 'cos they made a zillion of 'em back in the day. When I was a kid they were sold EVERYWHERE! I got most of mine from a nearby corner store. If you're patient you can get all sorts of 'em. (I snagged a first release cave, missing two small pats, with all paperwork AND decent box for about $10.)

      >Seemed like the 'common leftover' kit back then that nobody wanted.

Yup! The rhino was only a head and had limited play value so I bet that's why it wasn't so popular. And it's usually the leftovers that become the super-rare collectibles since nobody bothers hanging onto them.

Free to a good home: One box of assorted Dinosaur model kit parts. Nothing is complete, and a lot of it is painted. All I ask is you pay shipping. PM if interested.

And anyone who "flips" toys, don't PM me. This stuff is being given away in hopes someone can USE the stuff, it's not being given away for you to profit from.

By any chance do you have a picture of what you've got?

No, no pictures because I don't have a camera... If you're still interested, you can PM for more details...

Nice set so far, those look like fun. Great paint work.

Ape3978 - very nice of you to offer those up.
