Be careful who you offer that to. I'm not saying anyone here can't be trusted, but there have been cases (mostly with newbies) where things like this have gone wrong. Just a friendly warning. But it's a great gesture

My kid brother had all the Super Powers and a lot of Transformers and 3/4" GI Joe. I asked him if I could have them or buy them from him, but, he said no. Turns out, he caved to his wife (pretty easily I might add) and sold them all on eBay a couple years ago.

I know the whole deal, but that doesn't mean people should try to take advantage of you now. Plus it's good advice for everyone to see

i would agree, megos might be more likable and valuable but SP were deffinitely more comic accurate. also, just bid on a few loose figures on ebay so hopefully i win at lease a couple.

I don't know about mego as more valuable, MOC both are pretty pricey and the rare pieces are astronomical for both). one thing that helps keep the SP price lower is age (they are 5-10 years newer), contruction (SP son't have rubber bands and head to rot), and few SP have accessories to lose (let alone costumes to rip) so loose examples are easier to find. tat said I bet a loose GA for superpowers with his bow string and 2 arrows is as pricey as any mego hero loose except maybe the titans (and I know Cyborg loose with good vac metal is as expensive as a titan)

I recently found mine and let my 3 year old boys play with Supe and Bats....neadless to say, they are no longer "mint". Oh well..toys are meant to be played with.

I think Superpowers were some of the best Comic Action Figures ever made, I don't even care when people say they were THE best. For me the one missing link is that Kenner couldn't get the Marvel License as well, that would have been bliss.

I think for the most part, the Super Powers figures are cheaper. The rare stuff is different, but for the most part, I'd say any complete Superpowers figure would be cheaper than the corresponding complete Mego.

You can pick up a carded Green Arrow for under $30 without too much trouble on ebay.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

i don't mind secret wars, but between 1986-1989 they're were no marvel figures.
