    1980 Imperial Puffy Sticker Catalog

What's a more appropriate way to end a week devoted to back to school than by paying tribute to those items that often ended up on our binders, Puffy Stickers! Imperial Toy was one of the biggest producer of these back in the day, even when they didn't have the license they would come awfully close to mimicking it. Imperial did have some really familiar faces such as Web Woman, Buck Rogers, hell they made John Belushi stickers!

I remember when I first started teaching in the 80s and Puffy stickers and sticker albums were all the rage. I kept a bunch for my class.

BTW...Brian...I'd love to see those pages up close, but there are no links on your catalog pages.

Cool! I remember having a Hanna-Barbera sticker set that came with an album. I believe Imperial made it. It had the obvious Scooby, Flintstones and Yogi stickers, but also had some obscure ones like characters from Jabber-Jaws and other assorted 70s Scobby clones.

I think I had some of those generic Super Hero ones. Looks like they swiped some of the poses from actual DC/Marvel art used in licensing!

I wish I could provide higher resolution but the quality of print on this piece is abysmal! That's why I chouse to showcase certain items rather than thumbnail whole pages.

            This is so cool.

My wife has an entire picture album filled with 70s and 80s stickers. Among them are some really nice Fantastic 4 puffy stickers plus oodles more. When we were first dating, she pulled it out one night and showed it to me. It was really cool looking at them. VERY flashback like. lol.

In college, one of my friends had two prized kitschy possessions: a mint condition package of Kenny Rogers puffy stickers, and a tube of GI Joe lip balm.
